Hello Portland Tai Chi members!

The videos on this page are designed to help you begin to develop your Tai Chi practice.  Remember that the foundation of the many benefits of the arts is a daily practice.  As you get started this can be anywhere from 15-30 minutes a day.  For many this will be enough to maintain health and enhance vitality.  If you choose to go further there are branches of Tai Chi where the results you see from your efforts are profound.  We'll get into that later though.

For now let's focus on the initial purpose of the
training.
What ever your end goals the initial step is

mediation for 10-15
minutes on a regular basis.
This can be done everyday
if you have the time.

Restoring the quality of your breath will produce immediate results in improved vitality and health practice this everyday during your session and remind yourself to pay attention to your breath anytime you can throughout your day.
