Yiquan -
Was founded by Hsingl master Guo Yun Shen. Yiquan "mind fist" teaches the practitioner to push the body and mind to the extreme limits while training to relax. In doing this, the mind awareness is enhanced allowing energy channels to be open and more active.
The core of this training is: standing meditations, walking, test of power, test of sound, health dance, breath work, and push hands.
Qigong -
Has been practiced over 4,000 years, giving roots to many other arts including: Tai chi, feng shui, martial arts, acupuncture, healing massage, nutrition, herbology and sexual Qigong. There are over three hundred forms of Qigong used to aid in the prevention and cure of high blood pressure, heart disease, arthritis, diabetes, osteoporosis and cancer. This is backed by thousands of studies. Qigong "breath work" is practiced by using the breath in body movements guiding energy through the body and extending it beyond. Through practice of Qigong you will not only maintain but can increase your health. The Taoist believes that by practicing the internal arts you have awareness and ability to change your destiny.
The core of this training is : breath work, stretching, use of sound, energy circulation, philosophy and many forms of meditation.
Tai chi -
Many believe that Tai chi originated in the Chen village and that all other branches of tai chi are connected to this origin. There are four main families of Tai chi: Chen, Yang, Wu, and Sun. All have different characteristics and can be studied for various reasons: health, mental awareness, physical strength, spiritual practice, philosophy and martial arts. When practiced correctly you learn Qigong and Yiquan in your Tia chi practice.
The core of this training is: meditation through movement, philosophy, breath work, stretching, push hands and standing meditation.
