Eight Silken Brocades Qigong Form - Turn the Head

Inhale – The hands lift up behind the body to the small of your back.  The left hand rests in the right palm.

Exhale – Using the movement of the exhale turn the body to the right.  Work your way up the spine from the tailbone, turning vertebra by vertebra.  Finally look over the right shoulder with your eyes.  The shoulders and waist stay square with the front wall.

Hold here for three complete breaths.

Inhale – Use the expansion of the inhale to bring yourself back to center.  Start at the base of the spine and work up joint by joint.  The eyes are the last thing to return to center.

Exhale – Using the movement of the exhale turn the body to the left.  Work your way up the spine from the tailbone, turning vertebra by vertebra.  Finally look over the left shoulder with your eyes.
