Inhale – With the fingertips stretching down the hands move in toward the centerline. Interlace the fingers to the first knuckle and lift to the navel.
Exhale – The hands continue to rise up the torso with the forearms slowly rotating till the palms face the ground. Finish the exhale as the hands reach the top of the chest.
Inhale – The hands continue their rotation to face out in front of the face as the arms rise. Continue this movement until the palms are facing up above the crown of the head.
Exhale – Slowly extend the arms until they are straight. Shoulders sink down while the palms press up. Hold for three complete breaths.
Inhale – The hands sink to the crown of the head.
Exhale – the forearms rotate until the palms face the ground while the arms sink to collar bone height.
Inhale – Sink the hands to the navel.
Exhale – Sink the hands back to your sides allowing them to separate naturally
Repeat this movement of the Eight Silken Brocades Qigong set three or more times.
